Grow your network with our
Advisory Services

If you are a healthcare system executive or a leader of a community hospital within range of other smaller hospitals, chances are you have considered, or are currently considering, integrating laboratories and creating a larger reference laboratory to service your system for non-time dependent testing by either converting or building out an existing lab or by creating a full reference laboratory nearby.

Alverno has been through its share of integrations. The first took place in 1999 when the then Sisters of St. Francis Services integrated testing from six hospitals to its reference laboratory in Hammond, IN. Knowing how to structure your integration is the foundation of a success. After five additional integrations, Alverno’s team knows how to guide you through the process. Each merger taught us how to create a strategic plan that considered all facets, from formation documents to staffing, logistics to pathologist buy-in, to rapid response test menus and everything in-between. The list is long and not having experience can make navigation difficult.

Alverno Laboratories has experts in both setting up new laboratories and creating a reference laboratory; learn more and consider contacting Alverno to chat with our exceptional leaders.
